RGIA offers modern and efficient Automatic Tray Retrieval System (ATRS) across its pre-embarkation security checks in the domestic terminal. With ATRS enabled XBIS machines in place, Hyderabad International Airport will double the throughput of the processing of passenger hand baggage. This will substantially reduce the waiting time at the security check lanes and also reduce the pressure on CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) screeners in terms of manually handling the baggage.

Our Straight-to-Security option without check-in baggage, benefits over 40% of domestic passengers during peak hours. It also reduces congestion at check-in areas and helps airlines in improving their On Time Performance ( OTP ). We also have 10 “self-check-in” machines.
We have a dedicated transfer desk, first-of-its-kind, to assist transfer passengers. Located at Arrivals, Belt No 2, the transfer desk assists passengers in Domestic to Domestic and Domestic to International transfers.

Departure - All cars/ Taxi allowed for dropping the passengers/ visitors but no pick up from departure. No Minibus/Bus/ Heavy vehicle/two wheeler allowed on to Departure ramp.
VIP Parking - For all central /state ministers, MP, MLA, high government official, foreign official delegation, Army/Police official and VIP/VVIP of Protocol department etc.

Airport Kruz, an automated wheelchair service is available on chargeable basis to passengers travelling through Rajiv Gandhi International airport. The service is a mix of electrical and manual wheel chair. Passengers can place their request for the wheelchair service either at the Airport Kruz counter situated at Domestic and International Departures or book on +91- 7654321737. The Charges per trip at Domestic are Rs. 500/- (inclusive taxes) and for International are Rs. 1000/- (inclusive taxes). The charges are subject to change without notice. The service is available from the pick up point to the boarding gate and vice versa. The service is in addition to the complimentary service already being offered by the airlines.

Domestic Terminal - Check-in- Services for Mothers with Infants- GHIAL provides Baby strollers upto the Boarding Gates to passengers requesting at departures in the terminal 24X7. Service provided is free of charge. Passenger has to approach the information desk counter at check-in area, Departures, give their details and request for a baby stroller till the pax reaches boarding gate with the baby stroller.
Hyderabad International Airport has a dedicated PRM (Passengers with reduced mobility) waiting area at the departures and arrivals levels of the airport terminal. These waiting areas have been specially designed to cater to the needs of passengers with special needs in terms of seating and phone facility etc. Assistance is provided, as soon as they arrive near Gate No. 3, departure ramp, till they are ushered into the PRM lounge. Similarly, the arrival passengers can relax at the PRM Waiting Areas at Arrivals and wait to be picked up by their friends/relatives or till they hail a cab.
Hyderabad International Airport has a dedicated team of young and enthusiastic Passenger Service Associates available across the airport to assist and support passengers.
