Arrival Process

Disembarkation:

  • Aircraft parks at a contact stand (aerobridge) or remote bay (bus transfer)
  • Passengers disembark only after seatbelt sign is switched off and crew announcement
  • Follow terminal signage for Arrivals / Baggage Claim / Immigration
  • Travelators available along arrival corridors to reduce walking time

Immigration (International Arrivals Only):

  • Proceed to Bureau of Immigration counters in the international arrivals hall
  • Separate queues available for:
  1. Indian passport holders
  2. Foreign nationals
  3. OCI / special category travelers
  • Present passport, visa, and arrival documentation (if applicable)
  • Dedicated assistance is available for senior citizens, families with infants, and PRM passengers
  • The airport offers 44 immigration counters at departures and 20 on arrivals

Baggage Claim:

  • Proceed to the centralised baggage reclaim hall after immigration
  • RGIA has multiple baggage belts assigned per arriving flight
  • Flight number and belt allocation displayed on digital baggage information screens
  • Porter service is available near baggage belts area. Prices and details can be found there.
  • Baggage trolleys available free of charge
  • Oversized or special baggage available at designated collection points

Customs (International Arrivals Only):

  • Follow signage for Customs clearance after baggage collection
  • Choose the appropriate channel:
  1. Green Channel – Nothing to declare
  2. Red Channel – Goods to declare
  • Customs inspection conducted by Indian Customs authorities
  • Duty payment facilities available where applicable

Exit & Landside Access:

  • After customs, passengers enter the Airport Village area.
  • Passengers can exit to their locations by using various transport options like
  1. App-based taxis, prepaid taxis, and rental cars
  2. Airport shuttle and bus services
  3. Hotel counters and travel assistance desks
