First time in any Indian airport, where passengers can capture their memories with the Airport as a background, free of cost
After its continuous efforts to present convenient and comfortable travel of international standards to the passengers, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), operated by the acclaimed GMR Group, has now moved one step ahead in making their transit a memorable journey too. As one of its initiatives in this direction, the Airport has installed a Photo Kiosk for passengers to capture their memories of RGIA. Set-up at the Domestic departures, post security hold area, this kiosk offers options of Airport backgrounds for passengers to choose from.
The unique concept of a photo kiosk, is being introduced for the first time in any Indian airports, that too free of cost.
Passengers can just walk into this kiosk, which has a touch screen with self-explanatory option buttons. They have to enter their names, email IDs and then pose in front of the camera stationed in the kiosk. Next, options of backgrounds can be explored, frame adjusted and getting a photo is just a click away! The pre-designed background of RGIA pictures, whether it is the swanky terminal building, beautiful landscape, ATC tower or others, help carry their presence at the airport along with them. Finally, the photo can be emailed to the passengers' email IDs without any cost.
Interestingly, the installation of the photo kiosk has drawn immediate attention of not only passengers but also celebrities travelling through RGIA.
