Training is seen as an investment in GHIAL with focus on constantly refreshing & upgrading the competencies of our employees. We believe that our employees are the greatest asset & hence multiple learning opportunities & modes of trainings are provided for our employees to mold & sharpen their technical as well as behavioral skill sets.

An employee can choose from multiple training modes which suits their learning styles to develop their skill sets, these modes includes class room, virtual,on the job etc. We believe that knowledge upgradation is sustainable through knowledge sharing and also through networking. Our knowledge management portal provides them opportunities for knowledge sharing, learning from best practices etc.

Through our Aviation Academy, we provide best in class programs for upgrading domain knowledge, these programs are delivered by subject matter experts & our employees are also nominated for programs which are offered by professional bodies like IATA, ACI etc helping them acquire global certifications and making them a true airport professional.

Apart from the technical trainings, the organization believes in developing leaders of tomorrow today by enhancing the behavioral & leadership competencies of our employees. We have in place Multi-Tier Leadership Development programs which focus on having customized interventions for the employee groups; these are offered to our junior most employees to the senior most employees. At GHIAL, we encourage the employees’ development by nominating them for MDPs by institutes like IIM’s and for seminars, workshops, etc. organized by professional bodies like NHRD, CII, AIMAetc

The detailed induction program makes the new joiners accustomation process easy, all our new joiners are taken through sessions which help them understand the organization, Safety policies, HR policies etc. This is followed by department level inductions giving them hands on exposure to the day to day functioning of the department.
