About The Interim International Departures Terminal (IIDT)
International departures passengers can now travel from Hyderabad Airport through an interim terminal known as Interim International Departures Terminal (IIDT) located adjacent to the existing terminal. Our international arrivals continues to remain in the main passenger terminal building.
The Hyderabad Airport is undergoing a massive expansion to handle double the present capacity. Nevertheless, IIDT has been conceptualized and designed keeping passengers comfort in the mind during the intervening period of airport expansion. As the name suggests, IIDT is an interim facility and acts as an exclusive concourse to handle check-in, security, immigration, customs processes for departing international passengers.
After completing these formalities, passengers can seamlessly move into the main Passenger Terminal Building using a bank of elevators and escalator. En route to the boarding gate, passengers can enjoy amenities including shopping, retail, food & beverages and lounge access while awaiting boarding.
A dedicated Free Shuttle service has been arranged between the existing terminal and IIDT for convenience of passengers. This shuttle service will be available at the Arrivals Ramp and will operate at regular intervals. It takes close to 05 minutes transit from the existing terminal to the International Departures Terminal.
